Show HEALTH DAY TO BE OBSERVED M0NDAY Child health day will be observed ob-served in Springville next Monday Mon-day and Tuesday, under direction of the Stake Relief Society, with President Hannah M. Clyde of the stake board, general chairman, chair-man, in charge of arrangements. The Relief Societies of the stake will observe the day with a special meeting in the Fourth ward at 2 p. m., Tuesday, to which not only Relief Society members but every woman in the town, regardless of their affiliation, affili-ation, is invited to attend. Dr. Mark Allen, assistant superintendent su-perintendent of the State Training Train-ing school at American Fork, will be the principal speaker. His subject which promises to be of vital interest to everyone is "Relationship of Mental and Physical Health." There will be no ward Relief Society meetings on that day. Dr. Allen is also scheduled, to give a talk at an assembly at the high school at 10 a. m., ; on Tuesday. Another phase of the Health day observance will be by school children on Monday. A rotation program which will travel from one school to another, is planned plan-ned by the teachers of the various vari-ous grade schools. The children will also take to school that day a health lunch prepared by their mothers. The children will be. instructed in-structed in regard to what constitutes con-stitutes a health lunch and a number of suggestive menus are being distributed through the Relief Society to principals of the various schools. . |
