Show 1000 EXPECTED AT GOLD-GREEN BALL TONIGHT Elaborate arrangements are underway un-derway for the annual Gold and Green ball to be held; at Glengarry Friday evening, April 15. Approximately Approxi-mately 3X100 people are expected to attend the entertainment, which is one of the largest social events of the year. Gorgeous decorations including a large American flag and other patriotic emblems will feature the affair. Replacing the queens of previous yeais will be a beautiful pageant-parade pageant-parade of a patriotic nature. The M. I. A. contest dances will also be demonstrated. Ralph Migliaccio and his twelve-piece waltz orchestra or-chestra will furnish music. The ball is sponsored by Kolob stake M. I. A. with the cooperative effort . of all five ward organizations. organiza-tions. Mrs. Harold Alleman and Mrs. John Anderson assisted by Mae Huntington, Blanch Beal, Ruby Christensen, Hannah Rowland and Mrs. Bert Whiting, Y. L. M. I. A. ward presidents, are in charge of the pageant. Other arrangements, including a ticket sale campaign, will be directed di-rected by Floyd Miner and Hugh Baxter of the stake board with the ward Y. M. M. I. A. presidents, Glenn Dallin, Earl Hutchings, Bern Mendenhall, Frank Salisbury and Frank Jensen, assisting. I 6 |
