Show SPRINGVILLE . YOUTHS SCORE HIGHAT SHOW At the Utah County Livestock show held at Spanish Fork last week, Sp ringville's F. F. A. chapter chap-ter was represented by a stock judging team of 18 boys. The team placed second in the county and Stein Donaldson was second high point boy in the show. The chapter exhibited a number of animals which took different placements in the show. The Baby Beef club of the F. F. A. entered two baby beef in a class of 15. Of these one owned by Leslie Beardall took third in the class and was sold to the New-house New-house hotel for seven and one-half cents per pound. The other owned by Carl Peterson placed seventh and was sold to Miner's Market for seven and one-fourth c ents per pound. James Diamond entered four pigs in the F. F. A. class. These were sold to American Packing company at four and three-fourth cents per pound. Earl Mendenhall entered Lincoln ( sheep in the F. F. A. class and took one first, two seconds and one third. Also placetl second in the open class. |
