Show STl'DIO LIFE IS VIVIDLY FILMED Studio life, where the great banks of violet Cooper-Hewitts glow and the cameras whirl forth a celluloid band many times encircling encir-cling the earth, is graphically set forth in "Ella Cinders." John Mccormick's Mc-cormick's latest First National release, re-lease, with Colleen Moore as star. The picture is based on the popular popu-lar comic strip of the newspapers and retains all the well known characters created by William Con-iselman Con-iselman tyid Charles Plumb that have added much to human eniov- ment Ella, of course; Waite Lifter, Lift-er, the football playing iceman : "Ma" Cinders, Lotta Pill, Prissy Pill and all the small town figures that interinit.teaily have appeared on the funny pages. "Ella Cinders" will have its first showing nf. the Star Theatre next Wednesday and Thursday. The supporting sup-porting cast includes Lloyd Hughe. Vera Lewis, Doris Baker, Eniilv Gerdes, Mike Donlin, Jed Prnuty Jack Duffy, Harry Allen, D'Arcy Corrigan and Alfred E. Green. Mr. Green directed the production. |
