Condie of Springvllle, and a former student of the B. Y. L have been received here. A criticism from n Boston Slass., p.ilHT, touching iiKm Mr. C'ondie's singing over Radio station WNAO on .lamiary 111. di-clnros that he is a high-class vocalist, whose excellence of voice is equalled by the apparent ease of bis rendition. On that occasion. Mr. Condie sang as the soloist of the Copley Plaza orchestra. He is now sinking the loading role -in -The Bohemian Girl'' which Is being played at a Boston theater, and on January IS, he appeared before the Newton Center Cen-ter women's club, where he was well received. He has a two-weeks' engagement beginning January 18 at the Cnsto Sipiare theuter in Boston, and is also doing private teaching nt the famous New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Mr. Condie has been in the eost for four years. |
