Show EMMA S. BAGLEY DIES AT HOME IN SPRINGVILLE Following a brief illness brought on by complications resulting from influenza, Mrs. Emma Spafford Bagley, wife of Joseph D. Bagley, died at the family residence in the Springville Second ward at an early hour Tuesday morning. She was born in Springville September 30, 1879, where she bad lived practically practi-cally all her life. Surviving are her husband and the following children, Jane, 11 ; Dnnell, 7, and Shirley, 2; also four sisters and one brother as follows : Mrs. G. A. Sumsion of Chester, Sanpete San-pete County; Mrs. Frank MeKenzIe, Mrs. E. Y. Iloutz, Mrs. G. D. Hughes and A. H. Spafford, all of Springville. Spring-ville. Funeral services were held In the Second wnrd chapel Thursday afternoon after-noon with Ernest A. Strong of the ward bishopric in charge. The chapel was filled to overflowing. overflow-ing. The floral offering was exceptionally ex-ceptionally large and beautiful. The speakers were President G. R. Maycok, Ford Craudall and A. W. Harmer. Musical numbers were selections by a mixed quartette composed of Mrs. Jl M. Pierce, Mrs. Selvoy J. Boyer. Wm. Grooms and Ralph Snelson. nnd a vocal solo by Miss Francis Wannacott .The .Invocation was by Charles A. Allemnn, and the benediction by Earl B. Sumsion of the ward bishopric. bish-opric. Interment was in the city cemetery ceme-tery under the direction of A. Y. Wheeler. .The grave was dedicated by John S. Boyer. |
