Show AGED WOMAN rUPONDS TO CALL OF DEATH .Mrs. Mary Ann Taylor Brown To Be Buried In" Spring-ville Spring-ville Today Mrs. Mary Ann Taylor Urown, age 7!), died Friday at th homo of her son, Isnne S. Drown of tin Spring-villc Spring-villc Fourth ward of heart trouble after an illness of four days. She was in apparent good health and attended at-tended meetings last Sunday. She was born in Helper, Knplniid. in IS-iO, tlie daughter of Abrahnm Taylor and Hannah Eaton Taylor. She came to America whoa sixteen years of nge, crossing the ocean in a sailing vessel which took six weeks and then crossed the plains with ox team, coining direct to Springville where she had resided till the time of her death. ( She had Always been- active in civic nnd church affairs. She was counselor in the Primary for a number num-ber of years in her earlier life and has been actively engaged in (lie Relief Re-lief Society work for more than thirty years. She was the widow of the late Edward II. Brown. Surviving are three Rons, Isaac 8. Brown and Edward W. Brown of Springville and Amos A. Brown of Salt Lake City. She also leaves 20 grand children and eleven great grand children, besides a large number num-ber of loving friends. Funeral services were held in the Fourth ward chapel Sunday afternoon after-noon with Bishop Hilton A Robertson Robert-son in charge. The chapel was filled to overflowing nnd the flor- al offering was exceptionally large and beautiful. The speakers were President G. R. Maycock and J. Frnnk Bringhurst of the Kolob stake presidency and L. E. Eggertson of Prove. 1 A male nuartet comiwispd of Her- bert, Walter, Eli and Fred Robinson. Miss Inez Itobinson sang two numbers, num-bers, Miss Telen Fa?;freynmn and Miss Inez "Wheeler gave a vocal duet and Miss Helen I'alfreyman gave a vocal solo. The invocation was by A, .'W., Marnier Mar-nier and tlie, benediction was by Bishop G. S. Condie. Interment ! was in the Springville city cemetery under the direction of A. Y. Wheeler, undertaker. The grave was dedicated dedi-cated by Seymour L. Mendenhall, Jr., of the ward bishopric |
