Show UNIVERSITY AG STUDENTS GET POSITIONS Thirteen Graduates of Agricultural Agri-cultural Department of ., Young in Good Places AYilford Mcndenhall who will graduate from the Brigham Young university Wednesday, Jnne 3, 1925, has been nppointed crop pest in-l in-l speetor of the state of Arizona. Mr. Mendenhall has been trained in the agricultural department at the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university and is well prepared to assume his new duties. Thirteen men graduate from the Agriculture department this year. Of these, practically every one has been placed In lucrative positions with the exception of one who is awaiting final decision on a position' for which he has been recommended. "We have never been able to place our graduates so easily in the history his-tory of the department, ' said Dr. T. L. Martin, head of the agricultural department, Tuesday. "Our graduates grad-uates have been sought for and have little difficulty in securing positions early, at salaries that range a little higher than those of previous years. The graduates of the department are aa follows: . Ford Pnulson of Pleasant Grove, who will go to Panaca, Nov., to introduce in-troduce agriculture In the Lincoln high school; E. Kay Kobinson, ot Telonia, Idaho, who was released from an agricultural position to take one as seminary principal at Fili-more; Fili-more; Drue C, Cooper, of Itoxburg, Idaho, will teach agriculture in the Uexburg high school ; Merrill O. Clayson of American Fork will go to the seminary principalslup of the Richfield high school; Lorenzo J. Parker of Rigby, Idaho, will lie principal of the junior high school of Hurricane- and will also teach agriculture; James Anderson will ba principal of the junior high school of Spanish Fork; Cornell Mendenhall, Menden-hall, who will go to Morgan high school, as teacher in agriculture ; Ralph . liulluek has a position in Pryvo; Delamar Itair, Provo, wil! hp principal of the Hiawatha junior high school; Walter Smith, Provo, will be superintendent of the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university farms; James Knrtchner of Provo Bench, whu is located and L. A. Junes, who if awaiting reply from a position which has been recommended. |
