Show I "ROARING RAILS" "Ten years in motion pictures, but 'Roaring Rails' is absolutely the most thrilling photoplay I've ever taken part in." That is what Wallace MacDon-ald, MacDon-ald, featured villian in this Hunt Stroinberg starring Harry Carey, had to say following the completion comple-tion of the picture. MacDonald's life has been one of thrills. A few years ago he was a star iu serials and indulged in every thrill, from leaping off speeding trains to battling lions and tigers. But he insists that nothing that he has done in he past resuled in a more spine-tingling photoplay than this new Carey feature. "This is one of the few pictures in which I hnve worked that I actually act-ually received a real 'kick' out of seeing it projected on the screen. This was because I snow the punches were real, and I should know I had to risk my neck doing do-ing them." Harry Carey in "Roaring Rails" is the attraction at the Star theater next, Friday. In addition to Carey and MncDonalcl, the cast Includes Edith Roberts, Frnnkie Darro, Duke Lee and Charles Belcher. Horn Kormau is credited with the direction. |
