Crandall and family of Gilbert, Arizona, returned to their home Thursday after spending spend-ing two weeks at the home of Mrs. Rose Boyer. Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Price are spending several days as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ford Crandall of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Price have recently returned from Boston. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sumsiou returned re-turned to their -home in this city Monday evening after spending the past several months at Myton, rtah. Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Barron entertained enter-tained the following out-of-town guests at their home during last week, Mrs. Jack Crooksou and Mr. Barron's mother Mrs. Florence Barron Bar-ron of Salt Lake and Mrs. Claude Sorenson of Logan. -Mrs. A. C. Bird, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Harmon and Mr. and Mrs. Will Grooms spent the week-end in Salt Lnke as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Goates. Mr. and Mrs. Sam YVhittaker and daughter Virginia, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. II. L. Done, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Couyers and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cane of Eureka, have just returned to their homes after spending spend-ing several days vacation at Maple Dell. Mrs. E. E. Knudseu left Wednesday Wednes-day of Kamas, Idaho, where she will spend ten days with her mother. Nielsou left Thursday for Sctiofield where he expects to spend the coming month. - Mr. and Mrs. G. D. Kennedy nnd children Donloe, Edna, Gale and Keith enjoyed an outing and picnic lunch at Liberty Park Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pakent nnd children and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Bird all of Bingham were the Thursday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Crandall left Wednesday for the eastern states where Mr. Crandall will be employed em-ployed in the book binding business during the coming winter. On their way they will spend several days with Dr. and Mrs. Myron Crandall of Rawlins, Wyoming. : Miss Zina and Marie Johnson, Miss Bess nnd May Finley and Mr. Mont Johnson left Saturday for a motor trip through southern Utah. They will visit Bryce's, Ziou's and the Grand canyons. Miss Aleen Bird accompanied by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Arch Bird motored to Elsinore Wednesday, where Miss Bird will be employed as a teacher for the coming year. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Barlow and family of Morgan were the Saturday' Satur-day' dinner guests of Mr. nnd Mrs. E. W. Brown. They were on their way home after spending several days in Mt. Pleasant with relatives. Mrs. Harold Johnson and son, Dick, of Eureka, spent last Week with Mrs. Johnson's Mother Mrs. Iihena AVeight. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Brown and daughters Roniona and Beverly of Provo spent Sunday as the guests of Mr. nnd Mrs. E. W. Brown. .Miss Pearl Starr returned to her home in this city Sunday after spending the summer as the guest of Miss Helen Riedeu of Milwaukee, Milwau-kee, Wis. Miss Kieden accompanied Miss Starr home and will spend two weeks in Springville before returning return-ing to Ogdeu where she and Miss Starr are employed as teachers in the school for the deaf and dumb. Mrs. II. Lee Boyer spent Thursday Thurs-day and Friday iu Nephi on account of the illness of her mother, Mrs. L. A. Bailey. Miss Vera Slintsiou will leave Thursday . for Fountain Green, where she will be empolyed as a teacher during tbe coming year. Mr. and Mrs. II. E. Urkquart and family, Mr. uud Mrs. Ivan Chi Ids and Miss Teas Child Mr. and Mrs. Garnett Friel, Gloria Friel and Evyln Miner enjoyed a canyon party at Hobble Creek Sunday. Mrs. Joseph Toy of Bingham is the house guest this week of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Grant. ' Mrs. C... A. Peterson motored to Salt Lake Sunday by way of Provo canyon and Park City. Miss Naomi Deal returned to her home in Bos Angeles Friday after spending the past two months with friends and relatives in this city. Mrs. Nor rah Boveridge of Moab is spending this week at the home of Mrs. Grace Boveridge. One of the most interesting affairs af-fairs of the week was the farewell party given Tuesday evening at tbe home of (Jordan Crandall in honor of the return of Baree and Genevieve Gene-vieve Crandall to Gilbert, Ariz. During the early evening the party attended the theatre nt the Columbia Colum-bia In Provo. after wbbh they motored mot-ored to Springville and enjoyed a delicious super. Games and da lining lin-ing were features of entertainment after supper. Guests included Bewis. Baree. Genevieve and Car! Crandall. Cran-dall. Clare Gudmondseu. Eva Jones. Ivy Jones and the host. Mr. A. O. Thorn left Monday for Kenilworlh. He has spent several days in this city on account of the illness of Mrs. Thorn who was operated op-erated upon last week iu the AIrd hospital at Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Peterson and Mrs. Peterson's father, Mr. T. E. Childs who is staying with her motored to Salt Bake Wednesday and spent the day with relatives. Miss Velma and Florence Men-denhall Men-denhall visited with their sister. Mrs. Edward Clyde Thursday and Friday. They also attended the funeral fun-eral of their grandfather Thursday. Miss Melba Condie returned to her home in this city Wednesday. Miss Condie has been studying in New York during this summer. She also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Itichard Condie at Boston. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Starr and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jennie Starr and family and Mr. and Mrs." J, O. White of Spanish Fork motored to Salt Bake Sunday and accompanied Miss pt.,irl Starr and Miss Helen Riediu to Springville.
