Show BENNION TALKS TO STUDENTS Value of Biography Stressed By Church School Superintendent Dr. Adam S. Reunion, superintendent superin-tendent of church schools was the speaker at the regular Wednesday morning program at (lie Brlgham Young university. Dr. Reunion continued con-tinued his lecture upon great biographies. biog-raphies. "Every man aud woman owe it to those who come after them to leave' some record of their life and their doings," Dr. Bennion declared. "We have our pictures taken for that very purpose, don't we? T am keein Ing n diary in which I write from time to time of the things that I accomplish. The record of this day will be a happy one." Dr. Reunion recommended three biographies for perusal by the stud-dents: stud-dents: Boswoll's "Life of Johnson," "From Immigrant to Inventor," by Michael Puppin : and the life of "Alice Freeman Palmer" by her husband, hus-band, George Herbert P. liner. The later book Dr. Bennion classed as a I companion book of one of his favorites, favor-ites, "An American Idyll." |
