Show BONNEVILLE WARD CHOOSES NEW BISHOP Andrew Jensen, Well-Known Ward Worker, Sustained to Head Work Andrew Jensen, 1-14 South Seventh Sev-enth East street, was sustained Sunday Sun-day as the new bishop of the Bonneville Bonne-ville ward, to success Bishop Isaac Jacob, who has moved from the wa rd. Eggortson of the stake presidency. Leon Newrcn and A. D. Miller were retained as first and second counselor, respectively. Bishop Jensen, who is an employee em-ployee of the Startup Candy company, com-pany, is 30 years of ago and has lived in Provo since arriving here with his parents from Denmark when he was three years of age. His father, Severiiv Jensen, is living with his son at present. He has always taken an active interest in-terest in church affairs and has held many leading positions in the ward. For eight years he served as counseled to three former bishops of his ward and has also been active in Sunday school work as an assistant assist-ant superintendent and as superintendent. superin-tendent. His appointment, as head of the ward will necessitate the reorganization reorgani-zation of the superintendency of the Sunday school of the Bonneville ward of which he was the second counselor. Several years ago, Mr. Jensen married Mettie Pearce of Provo. They have one daughter. Bishop Jensen is the sixth bishop of the Bonneville ward since its organization or-ganization 12 years ago. The former for-mer bishops of the ward are B. II. Bullock, George P. Billings, Joseph T. Giles, Robert Elliott and Isaac Jacob.
