Show HIDDEN. Only one American family in every four has an income of $1,000 or more a year if you believe the national income tax figures. The latest of these statistics that are completely compiled cover 1922 and show that 6,385,405 admitted incomes in-comes of $1,000 or more during the year. It's estimated the average family has four and a half members that is, nine members to every two families. If the tax collector could get to the "hidden incomes," TJnele Sam could retire a big chunk of the national na-tional debt |
