Show LADIES GUESTS OFKIWANIANS The ladies were the supsts of the Springville Kiwauians at the largest attended weekly luncheon of the season held at the Third ward amusement hall Thursday evening, August 28. The evening program was in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Phillips, who were married last week in Salt Lake City. After the wedding march, led by the bride and groom, in which all participated, talks were given by ,7. O. Reynolds, Mrs. Nelson Beal and M. R. Straw. Prof. Wm. L. Miller gave a violin solo. The eommunitv singing was led by M. E. Crandall, Jr. Committee reports were given by H. T. Reynolds and Ray L. Done. Mr. Hone stated that there was on hand 500 for the purpose of improving im-proving the addition recently added to the high school campus and asked the club to designate a day and have all citizens come out nnd join in a day of cleaning and fixing up the grounds that they might be suitnhle for a playgrounds for all the children of the town. The fact that the underprivileged child and supervised playgrounds is one of the projects rhat the cluh is working on. the suggestion met with hearty approval. J. F. .
