Show IbEMOS WILL STAGE RALLY: Torchlight Parade Will Precede Pre-cede Big Event at Armory; King to Speak The Democrats of Utah county will fire the opening gun in the impending political campaign Saturday Sat-urday night, with a big rally at the armory, t which Senator William H. King will be the main speaker. A spectacular torchlight parade will precede the rally and a free dance will follow. Five hundred young men and women, wo-men, members of the Democratic clubs of Payson, Spanish Fork, . Springville, Lehi, American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Provo and other Utah county communities will march in the torchlight parade, which will be headed by the crack Young university band, under the direction of Prof. Robert Sauer. The rally begins at 8 o'clock in the armory. ar-mory. In addition to Senator King it is expected that most of the state and county nominees on the Democratic Demo-cratic ticket will be present. An excellent musical program featuring "Tabby and Bun," sensational sensa-tional musical performers from American Fork, and including numbers num-bers from every Democratic club in the county is being prepared. At. the close nf the mooting Byron Dastrup and his "Timps" will furnish fur-nish the music for a free dance at I the Armory. A general invitation is extended to the public to attend. |
