Show FRIENDS PAY RESPECT TO MRS. SPAFFORD Funeral services were held in the Springville Third ward chapel Thursday afternoon October 30, for Mrs. Mary Mildred Spafford, age 40, wife of Alma II. Spafford, who died at the family home last Saturday morning after a lingering illness. Bishop W.K. Johnson was in charge. The floral offering was very large and beautiful. The speakers were John S. Boyer. Sr., Ford Crandall, Bishop G. 11. Maycock and Bishop W. K. Johnson, Jr. Musical numbers were a male quartet, composed of Elmo Coff-uiiiiL, Coff-uiiiiL, Ralph Snelson, Melvin Done and M. E. Crandall. Jr.; a vocal duet by Mrs. Mabel Kindred and Mrs. Clara Boyer; a violin solo by Prof. R. W. Miller and a vocal duel by Mr. and Mrs. Guy Brown. The invocation was offered by Oscar M. Mower. The grave in the Evergreen cemetery was dedicated by Willis Strong. Mrs. Spafford is survived by her husband and seven children, M rs. Jessie Aldous of Philadelphia.
