R. May-cock. May-cock. Business in Springville will suspend sus-pend at 12 o'clock noon on that I day, and all will participate in the outing after that time. The program pro-gram of events, however, begins at 10 a. m. Outstanding among the sports of the day are baseball games between be-tween business men and farm bureau members; horseshoe pitching pitch-ing contests, races, tug-of-war, and all kinds of games for both children chil-dren and adults. A band concert given by the Springville band and a band dance are also features of the day. In addition to these events many others are being planned. It is announced an-nounced by Elmo Coffman, Kolob stake recreation chairman, that 300 prizes will be given away to winners of various events. Excursionists driving cars to the grove are asked to park so that as much space as possible within the grove be used for the games and sports. Mendenhall, horseshoe; A. W. Cherrington, tug-of-war ; E. D. Faux, music and program; Mrs. Nell Alleman, childrens games; Mrs. : Jessie Dalton and Vesta Anderson, mutuals and adults. |
