Show VICTIM OF AUTO ACCIDENT DIES IN HOSPITAL Elmer Lamond Dnffin. 23, son of -Mrs. A. I). Heaps of Eureka, died at a Provo hospital Wednesday from injuries suffered Sunday evening eve-ning when he was struck by an automobile driven by an unknown man, The accident occurred near Dividend. Puffin who wore an artificial limb was si ruck before he could get out of the way of the car and knocked to the ground. His chest was badly crushed and he suffered suf-fered Internal Injuries. He was picked up by passersby anil hurried to Provo where he was given surgical surg-ical attention, but Internal complications complica-tions developed and the end came at 5 o'clock Wednesday morning. Investigation on the part of officers offi-cers revealed thnt the ear was stolen and the driver made his gel-away. The case is being worked on by officers offi-cers of Utah and Juab counties. Puffin had lived in Dividend about a year, having moved there from Delta. Millard county. He was born in Cannonville, tint-field county. January lit, 1!)U3. Surviving are his mother, stepfather, step-father, nnd one brother, Jesse Puffin Puf-fin of Eureka. Funeral services will be held at the Berg Mortuary this morning at '11 o'clock under tile direction of Bishop Waller P. Whitehead. .Interment, will be in the Provo City cemetery. |
