Show POLICE SEEK . MISSING GIRL Family In Distraught Search For Beatrice Adams, Age Sixteen. EUTTE, Mont., Sept. 18 'U.J!) As completely as if she had dropped off the earth, Beatrice Adams, pretty IG-yea-old Ionia, Mich., girl has disappeared. Her parents and police have been conducting a frantic fran-tic search since Sunday, but have uncovered no trace of the girl or a mysterious Wisconsin car, it was revealed today. At Whitehall, Mont., Beatrice joined a Wisconsin touring party, a man, woman and boy. Her parents, par-ents, Mr, and Mrs. Charles Adams, enroute from Michigan to Seattle, had chatted pleasantly with the Wisconsin people and gladly consented con-sented to the change because of crowded conditions in their car. The two parties agreed to meet at Butt.." That was last Saturday and that evening "on the Main street was the Inst seen of Beatrice Adams. For a few days a quiet search was carried on but finally the distraught parents made public their anxiety. Mr. Adams did not know the name of the Wisconsin family, but ! secured their license number. "I am certain they are honest," he insisted. "Perhaps they got lost. I do wish they would follow the obvious course of consulting ' Butte police." |
