Show DANCE CLASSES : FOR "Y" CO-EDS ': The girls of the Brigham Young university have an unusual opportunity, oppor-tunity, this year, to study dancing hi two of it's biggest divisions, ; folk and classic. - ! Miss Wihna Jeppson. instructor ; of phyiscnl education for the girls, hns found it necessary to orgnnize classes in ndvnnced folk dancing, since the girls who studien elementary elemen-tary folk dnncing last year, found it so fascinating they have requested that the course be continued. The B. Y. U. has alse secured the services of Miss Mildred Lewis who will assist Miss Jeppson in the physical education department, by teaching a course of classical dancing. danc-ing. Miss Lewis has attended four summer schools of the famous Stefano Mnscagno and has spent twTo years in Salt Lake studying under L. P. Christensen. Ballet technique, nature and character char-acter dancing are a few of the courses that Miss Lewis' experience will enable her to instruct the university uni-versity girls. |
