NOTED CHURCH MAN IS DEAD SALT LAKE CITY, Dec, 10. Dr Seymour It. Young, senior president of the First Seven Presidents of Seventies, died at his home here Monday after several months illness. ill-ness. Ho was born in Kirtland, Ohift October 3, 1KM7, son of the late President Joseph Young and Jane I'.icknell. His father was the elder brother of President Brigham Young. Dr. Young has always taken an active part in civic affairs. He assisted as-sisted in early days in putting down many India n uprisings and served i iv the, Union army during the Civil war in the Lot Smith brigade. He was a member of the G. A.
