Show SERVICE STAR SENDS JELLY The following letter has been received re-ceived by Mrs. J. D. Boyr, president of the Provo chapter of the Service Star legian following a shipment from the chapter of jam to the disabled dis-abled soldiers. The letter is from Miss Mae V. Sherry, acting director, Red Cross service. The letter follows : "Many, many thanks for the lovely jellies and jams which your Legion has just sent us. The 60 pints were received in- good condition condi-tion not even a jar cracked. We were so delighted to receive, this fine shipment, for we have been entirely out of preserves for a long time. "We sent all of it out to the Infirmary In-firmary wards where the sickest of our boys are confined and we know they will be most grateful for such a delicacy as home-made jam and jelly:. Those who' are able to write will no doubt drop a note of thanks to the individuals whose names are on the various jars." Very truly yours, (Miss) MAE V. SHERRY. Acting Director, Red Cross Service'. |
