Show FIGHT LATE ISMGHT EARLY Wheu cool moist weather occurs in July and August, late blight of potatoes often causes great losses, particularly in the Northern States. The disease spreads very rapidly iu favorable weather, killing the plants in a few days. Late blight can be controlled by thoroughly spraying the plants with 4i-4-no Bordeaux mixture, beginning when the disease dis-ease is first seen. Repeat the spraying spray-ing every 10 to 14 days in dry weather and every 7 to 10 days in moist weather. |
