Show FRUITGROWERS PLAN MARKET Whether or not the Federated j Fruit and Vegetable Growers as sociatlon would be given the con tract to handle the fruit grown at Springville and Mapleton during the coining year was discussed at j joint meeting of orchardists Tuesday Tues-day afternoon at Springville, aceord ing to C. C. Child, secretary of the Utah county farm bureau. All hough definite action in the matter was held over until the annual an-nual meeting of the two associations associa-tions January 18, it was pointed on' that growers who marketed through the federated during the past season j received -5 cents more a bushel for their peaches than the independent grower received who sold his fruit on the open market. |
