Show AGED PIONEER DIES IN SPANISH FORK SPANISH FORK, July 8. Mrs. Margaret Ann Brown, 73 years of nge, wife of Charles Brown, died Saturday night at her home here after af-ter n lingering illness from diseases incident to old age. Mrs. Brown was born in England June 13. 1S51 and came to Utah in iSC.S with her parents, coming directly di-rectly to Spanish Fork. She married mar-ried Charles Brown in her young womanhood. Mrs. Brown opened the first millinery and dressmaking establishment in this city, which she successfully conducted for more than twenty years. Later the family fam-ily moved to Mammoth and after tliev had lived there some time Mrs. Brown was appointed postmistress of that place filling the position successfully suc-cessfully for twenty-one years. A few vears ago they moved back to Spanish Fork, both Mr. and Mrs. Brown being in failing health. Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, now in his ninetieth year, seven children, fifteen grandchildren grandchil-dren and four great-grandchildren. |
