Show their guests for dinner last Thursday Thurs-day Dr. and Mrs. George L. Smart of Salt Lake. The Owl Swarm of the Beehive Girls entertained their mothers and swarm leader, Mrs. Burr, Thursday evening at the home of Miss Mary Beardall. Mrs. Mark Reynolds, Thomas Reynolds Rey-nolds and Hannah Reynolds spent the week-end in Salt Lake John S. Boyer, Jr., was surprised at his home Wednesday evening by thirty five relatives and friends, honoring his birthday. Games were played and luncheon served. Mrs. G. Ray Hales of Spanish Fork visited her mother, Mrs. W. L. Grooms, Wednesday. Mrs. Dimick Huntington, Mrs. L. J. Whitney, Mrs. D. P. Brrnton, Mrs. A. W. Roylunce and Mrs. B. M. Men-denhall Men-denhall attended the meeting of club presidents in Salt Lake Friday. Miss Anna Beardall entertained the Bee Hive girls of the First ward at her home Thursday evening. For the comfort, of the patrons, one corner of the hall was furnished with a living room suite, floor lamps and baskets filled with ferns ; the latter supplied by the Springville Floral company.' The patrons were Mr. and Mrs.' G. R. Maycock, Mr. and Mrs. M. O; Packard, Pack-ard, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Knudsen, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Christen; son. The Wednesday Evening bridge club met this week at the home of Mrs. Frank Reynolds in Provo. There were three tables. Mrs. Steven Deal won the high score prize and Mrs. Harold Christenson the draw prize. The Boosters club of the Pprlng-vllle Pprlng-vllle high school had charge of the program at the high school Friday morning. The following numbers were given : Invocation, W. T.
