Show rushed the injured man to the Aird hospital where he was tended by Dr. J. Karl Beck. Mrs. Mather and J. C. Weeter, president of the Weeter Motor company, were notified noti-fied of tho accident but failed to arrive before death had ended Mather's life. Mr. Mather was born in Idaho and entered Mr. "Weeter's employ at Pooatcllo when a mere boy. Later he was made manager of the large lumber interests of Mr. "Weeter at Pocatello and held that position for a number of yoirs. About five years ago he removed to Delta, where he was made manager of the Delta Lumler and Hardware company!, nlso controlled by Mr. Weeter. About five months ago Mr. Mather Ma-ther removed to Salt Lake Mr. Mather was married in 1917 and is survived by his widow and two children. Accident Happened 6 o'Clock Tuesday Eening, Two miles South of Lincoln High ', Never regaining consciousness after af-ter a fatal auto accident on Provo Bench Tuesday evening at G o'clock, II. A. Mather, 3S. resident nt 0.'!0 Greenwod terrace, Salt Lake, died four hours later at the Aird hospital in Provo. Mr. Mather was manager of the Delta Lumber and Hardware company, manager of the Interstate Finance company and secretary and treasurer of the W(vter Auto company of Salt Lake City. While living in Delta a few years ago he was mayor of that city. Mather was on his way home froin Delta at the time of the accident Alxnit two miles south of the Lincoln Lin-coln high schol on the state highway, high-way, he attempted to pass another north-bound ear. In doing so the left hind wheels of his car left the IMivement for a few inches. In attempting at-tempting to get the car back on the pavement, the car skidded and turned over throe times, breaking the steering wheel and the top. Witnsses of tho accident found Mather unconscious.
