Show SPRINGVILLE CHURCH MAN DIES AT HOME Carl C. Wilhclm Erickson. 60 years of age, died at his home Tuesday Tues-day evening after a lingering illness of more thaua month of stomach trouble. Mr. Erickson was born in Stockholm, Stock-holm, Sweden, Oct. .., 18U5. lie came to Springville 3ti years ago. coming direct from his native laud. He filled a three-year mission in Sweden for the L. D. S. church be-for be-for emigrating and six years after his arrival in Springville he returned return-ed to his native country and filled a second mission. He was counselor to Bishop O. B. Huntington ill the Springville First ward at the time the Kolob stake was organized. He has held this position for eleven years and four months, and was released when Bishop Huntington was ordained a Patriarch. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Annie Hanson Erickson, four sons and four daughters: Joseph Erickson Erick-son of Ogden : Lee Erickson, of Salt Lake City; Orlando Erickson, of El Centre, Calif. ; Kenneth Erickson, of Springville; Mrs. David Hopla and Mrs. Norris Binks, both of Mapleton ; Mrs. Clyde Clark, of Provo: and Miss Jeuuie Erickson, of Springville. Funeral services will be held in the Springville First ward chape: Saturday at 2 o'clock, with Bishop J.-E. Bird in charge. Interment will be in the city cemetery. |
