Show Historic Pageant to Be Held On Third Day of Semicentennial Semi-centennial A grand historic parade will feature fea-ture the third day of the Brigham Young university semi-centennial celebration, Saturday, October 17. Dean Carl F. Eyring, chairman of the committee having this event in charge announces that the parade will consist of a number or symbolic floats prepared by alumni of various var-ious localities and representing the spirit and growth of the institution during the several years of its existence. ex-istence. The founding of the institution by President Brigham i'oung will be followed by representations of the administration of Karl G. Maeser. Benjamin CItiff, Jr., George ,Ji. Brimhall and Franklin S. Harris,, respectively. Prof. JS. H. Bastmond, who has gained. much fame for Ills work in parade and pageant building, build-ing, will personally direct the preparation prep-aration of floats and supervise the parade.
