Show JC auxiliaries visit training school Some fifty auxiliary members to Jaycee Clubs from Springville, Spring-ville, Mapleton, Orem, Spanish Fork, Provo and Payson joined in a tour recently of the State Training School at American Fork. Officials at the school conducted con-ducted the tour, explaining the use of the buildings, describing types of students and cause of their illness and discusing some of the needs of the institution. Kitchen equipment, and clothes which do not need dry cleaning, in all sizes and more volunteer workers, were some of the items listed. Funds ' are also needed for improvement of the various departments, they were told. Members of the Springville JC Wives, who invited the groups believe it gave other clubs a better understanding of the school and its problems. Special appreciation was expressed ex-pressed to the presidents of the various organizations who cooperated co-operated in making the tour a success. Many of the clubs since have expressed a desire to support the school. |
