Brown, the former Miss Vicki Killpack, who was married Friday in Salt Lake Temple is making- a home in Springville. Mr., Mrs. Robert 0. Brown make home here after temple rites Home from a few days honeymoon trip to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone Park, are new-lyweds, new-lyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Robert O.I Brown, who were married Friday, Fri-day, August 16, in the Salt Lake Temple. Mrs. Brown is the former Vicki Killpack, daughter of Mrs. Ardis Killpack, of this city and the late Theron W. Killpack. Robert's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Bert O. Brown also of Springville. Following the temple ceremony, cere-mony, parents of the groom hosted members of the wedding wed-ding party and immediate family members at a wedding breakfast at the Hawaiian in Salt Lake City. In the evening, a wedding reception was held in the 1st-12th 1st-12th ward, where the couple greeted a large crowd of relatives, rel-atives, and friends. .. j They stood before an all-white all-white and gold arrangement daughter's reception and Mrs. Brown, a beige sheath. Their corsages were cymbodium orchids. or-chids. Serving as best men were Jim Olsen and Merrill Johnson. John-son. Jon Bird was usher. Joseph Gadd, grandfather of the bride, was also in the receving line as were the bride's three brothers, Terry, Randy and Kim Killpack and little Janice Goodsell was flower girl. Greeting guests at the door, were aunts of the couple, Mrs. Nettie Hoyle, Mrs. Hal Gadd and Miss Emma Ulock. Ann featuring- large wedding bells tied with a golden rope. Autumn Au-tumn shades or gold and bronze were carried out in other details de-tails of the reception. The bride was exquisitely gowned in a white silk faille, designed and made by her mother. It had all lace appliques embroidered in see d-pearls down the front, long sleeves and floor-length skirt. Her viel of illusion elbow length was arranged to a lace and' seed-pearl seed-pearl trimmed crown. She carried an all-white bouquet of phlaenopsis orchids, rosebuds, and stephanotis tied with gold and white ribbon. Attendants to the bride, Mary Brown, maid of honor and Lorna S. Ivy and Diane Naylor, wore rust and gold brocade with pieces of rust tulle and they held cascade bouquets of gold and bronze mums. Mrs. Killpack chose a biege imported cotton lace for her Livsey and Larry Johnson were at the guest register. Arranging gifts were, Mrs. Reva Roylance, Mrs. Louise Springer, Mrs. Beverly Johnson and Mrs. Gloria Langston, assisted as-sisted by Larry and Karl Gadd and Randy Johnson, cousins of the bride. Acting as hostess for the evening was Eve K. Tatton. Serving at small tables each centered with golden glads were, Mary Ellen and Marjorie Sanford, Karma and Kathy Ivory, Sue Ellen Goodsell, Jane Clark and Laurie Johnson. Each wore gold-colored serving aprons. Background music was furnished fur-nished during the evening by Don Watts. The young couple are making their home in Springville, while Robert continues his schooling at BYTJ and Vicki is employed as a dental assistant in Provo. |
