Show Reed M. Johnson finishes course Army National Guard Major Reed M. Johnson of this city, recently completed the two-week two-week associate command and general staff course at the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Phased over a five-year period, per-iod, the course parallels the resident course at the college. Approximately 300 reserve officers of-ficers attended this session of the, course. The college, the Army's senior sen-ior tactical school, was established estab-lished in 1881 as the School of Application of Infantry and Cavalry. Major Johnson and his wife, Jacqueline, live at 32 Senior Court, Springville. He is an operations and training officer with the 145th Field Artillery Group, an Army National Guard unit in Provo. The major is a 1949 graduate gradu-ate of BYU. |
