Show tepis mis wk kymfis Tryout time is here for WBBA baseball enthusiasts enthus-iasts and three leagues are announcing theirs begin-ning begin-ning this Friday. Eligibility rules as to age for the , wutiA. organization state if effect that a fellow must have reached his 9th birthday before be-fore August 1 and not have reached his 13th birthday until I after July 1, in order to be ' eligible to participate. F The following leagues have arranged tryouts this week: Hobble Creek Friday, April 14, at 4:30 p.m., tryouts for the 9 year olds will be held on the diamond dia-mond in the Northeast comer of Memorial Park. Saturday, April 15, beginning begin-ning at 3 p.m., tryouts for the 10, 11 and 12 year olds will be held at the same diamond. Boundary lines for the league include those living North of 1st South and West of 5th East. Harold Christensen is in charge. Spring Creek All boys between 9 and 12 years who wish to tryout for the Spring Creek league will do so Saturday, April 15, at 2 p.m. on the Southeast dia- mond east of the Junior High school building. Boundary lines for the Spring Creek league include those living liv-ing South of 1st South and West of 4th East. President Woodrow Hatfield is in charge. Mapleton Mapleton league tryouts will be held Friday, April 14, at 5 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. on the little league diamond at Mapleton. Calvin Johnson, president of the league, especially invites the 9 and 10 year olds who have been on a team previously previous-ly and also those eligible who desire to participate but have not been on the team before. |
