Show Kiwanis notes Canada-U.S. good-will week Three Brigham Young University Uni-versity students, Beth Stanford of Edmonton, Judy Strong of Raymond, Alberta, and Man-fored Man-fored Schulzke of Toronto, Canada, will be guests of the Kiwanis club and the main speakers at the meeting at Bart's at "7:00 p.m. tonight. J. Keith Robinson, president, will preside with the Rev. Coyne Gifford toastmaster. The meeting will be in commemoration com-memoration of Canada-U.S. Goodwill Week, which is the anniversary of the signing of the Rush.Bagot Agreement on April 28, 1817. The agreement is the sole basis of the 3000 miles of unfortified boundary between the two countries. There are now 32 Kiwanis-sponsored Kiwanis-sponsored peacemakers along the border, each one dedicated to dramatizing the peaceful neighborliness of the two countries, coun-tries, the local club president pointed out. |
