Show Mapleton Man Receives New Reserve Position Capt. Harold V. Gividen of Mapleton has been appointed commander of Flight A of the 9424th Air Reserve Squadron, it is announced by the unit headquarters in Provo. He succeeds Capt. Ferris E. Fullmer of Spanish Fork. During Dur-ing the past two years he has served as a member of the squadron staff. Autumn training classes of Flight A, which includes reservists reser-vists in central Utah from Lehi to Eureka, will begin with an orientation session Sept. 1, Beginning Be-ginning Sept. 14 regular training train-ing meetings will be held at 7:45 p.m. on Mondays at 173 No. 1st West. Lt. Boyd M. Hunter of American Am-erican Fork will be instructor for the unit's 1959-60 course in management methods. Prior-service Prior-service airmen ' and officers in the area are invited to sign up for the course, Capt. Gividen said. |
