Show ' ' 1 ': ' ' : Michael Tohe, 11-year-old Indian In-dian student drowns. Family Gets Word Of Boy Drowning, Attends Services Springville friends and class mates were saddened with the news of the drowning of the Indian boy, Michael E. Tohe, in a reservoir near the home of his grandmother at Klagetoh, Ariz., late last week. He made his home with the Leo A. Crandall family last school year and was planning to be with them again this year and to arrive here Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Crandall and family fam-ily and Mr. Crandall's mother, Mrs. Mattie Crandall, went to Gallup, N. M. to attend funeral funer-al services Monday. Michael was an outstanding student in the Fifth grade, Westside school, last year and previously had attended school at Crystal and Ganado public pub-lic schools and at Klagetoh, Ariz. The services were conducted under direction of the Southwest South-west Indian Mission with LD'S Elders officiating. Burial was at Gallup. The youngster is survived by his parents, Benson and Laura Barton Tohe and five brothers and sisters, Robert, David, Benjamin, Ben-jamin, Laura and Patricia Ann. |
