Oris Invited to . participate In Wool Contest : .fte Springville Chamber of Commerce has received an in-- in-- Station to enter a girl from this area in the 1958 National Miss Wool Pageant competition competi-tion which is a different contest con-test than that of sewing with wool. The pageant will be staged in San Angelo, Texas, Aug. 25 to 30. Girls who desire to compete com-pete must be between the ages of 18 and 25, not married, mar-ried, at least 5 feet four inches tall and not more than five Miss Sandra Sue Stour of Piedmont, Okla., America's Dairy Princess who is scheduled sched-uled to take part in various activities in connection with Utah's June Dairy Month. feet 8 inches tall without shoes; wear a size 12 dress; possess a talent which might be presented to those attending attend-ing the pageant. Anyone desiring to enter, should contact the local Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce for further details, including an entry blank. Only one girl will be selected from each of the 13 western states. Each one will be flown to San Angelo and return. She will be treated to a full week of entertainment and will be attired in a beautiful coronation corona-tion gown which she will keep. The winner of the 13 western west-ern states will be given a $5000 wardrobe; will visit New York and probably a trip to South America. Chamber of Commerce officials offi-cials state that Springville has many beautiful girls and one may be chosen for this honor.
