News of his death came as a shock barbed with pain and sorrow to his hosts of friends and relatives in and about this city. On Monday September 6th, the school will open its doors to all graduates from the public schools. The Ideal School house has been renovated, and equipped with apparatus of the first order. Two new instructors bave been secured, men of training and efficiency. The course of instruction has been increased from two years to three The building will bo devoted years. exclusively to high: In addition to the courses, presented previous years, the subjects given in any well regulated three year High School of standard will be included. Because of the expense in the estab lishing the three year high school. and to be in harmony with the High Schools of the State, tuition of ten dollars will be charged every student. This tuition will entitle the student to all the privileges of the school, and to such supplies as note books, pens, scratch paper, theme paper, and pencilstext books excluded. This tuition is nominal, within the reach of every student and must be paid in advance. Text books may be purchased at the High School book store on the morning of entrance. The following instructors have been engaged for the ensuing year: Ed. M. Rowe, L.W. Neilson, D.L. Tack, and Wilford McAllister. All of these bold diplomas and special certificates. The school board is doing its part to promote the best interests of the school. From the present outlook this will be a most successful year. With the support of the school patrons, and the united effort of student body, the high school will be a strong social force in our comunity, and a very important factor in the moral development of our city.
