Show MRS MARY JANE MNUTT A large number of the people of the Spanish Fork met at Third ward of June June house on Tuesday the meeting to Sis their last respects 1th to pay McNutt who died on ter Mary Jane Sunday June 2nd of heart failure and congestion of the liver at the age of 70 years and 17 days Sister McNutt was born In the state of Connecticut on May Kiln 1837 but In her early youth she came west to Wisconsin where she married mar-ried She Is the mother of one daughter daugh-ter who Is also dead She has nine grandchildren who live with thou father In Monroe county Wisconsin There were at her funeral two men who has been at the home of the deceased de-ceased In Wisconsin as Mormon missionaries mis-sionaries Both spoke of her In the highest terms of praise for her kindness kind-ness to them while on missions Sister McNutt was a woman of sterling character loving I 1m hII Hl1e was 11 de voted Latterday Saint though not u fanatic She left allhome daughter daugh-ter and grandchildren for the gos bollovimig pels sake hoping trusting believing that In Its precepts was eternal life The funeral was largely attended and her casket was covered with the choicest of flowers During her last Illness lovlnfe friends were at her bedside night and day to make her as comfortable as possible The music at her funeral was varied var-ied and excellent Hest In peace GEO A HICKS |
