SUSAN B ANTHONY DEAD Great Suffragist Succumbs to Attack of Heart Failure nochester N YThe long and eventful life of Susan B Anthony closed at 1240 oclock Monday morning morn-ing The end come peacefully Miss Anthony had been unconscious practically prac-tically for twentyfour hours and her death had been momentarily expected since Sunday night Only her wonderful wonder-ful constitution kept her alive Dr M S flicker her attending physician said Miss Anthony died of heart failure fail-ure induced by double pneumonia Miss Anthony was taken ill on her way homo from tho national suffrage convention in Baltimore She stopped In Now York where a banquet was to bo given February 20 In honor of her eightysixth birthday but had an attack of neuralgia on tho 18th and hastened home Pneumonia developed after her arrival here and on March 5 both lungs became affected
