Show INFLUENZA CLAIMS VICTIMS IN EPHRAIM Special to The Tribune. EPHRAIM. Oct. 22. The first deaths resulting from influenza were reported in this city this morning. W. F. Anderson died at S o'clock this morning from pneumonia following an attack at-tack of influenza. He had been -ill since Wednesday. A trained nurse was sum-, moned from Salt Lake City yesterday. Mr. Anderson leaves a widow and three children, a mother and a number of brothers broth-ers and sisters. Funeral arrangements have not been made. Earl Barton, the 10-year-o!d son of Mr. and Mrs. William G. Barton, succumbed last night to a complication of troubles. Ho has for several years been suffering from heart trouble, and recently contracted con-tracted influenza, which caused his death. Dr. A. J. Nielson, city physician, has recovered and is attending to his professional pro-fessional duties. The city health authorities author-ities have quarantined all homes having the disease. |
