Show ALIA CONSOLIDATED HAS GOOD SHOWING Company Is Now Developing Develop-ing Ore in Three Different Dif-ferent Places. J. D. Lewis, manager of the Alta Consolidated Con-solidated Mining company, said yesterday that ore was now boini? developed in three different places of the company's extensive holdings, and in eueh case villi a satisfactory s ho wine:. On the Ait a Consolidated tunnel level, in the raise on the Hoboken fissure, at a distance of about forty feet up. there are from ten to six inches of hic'n-srrade palena on the hanging-wall side, with about two feet of brccciated matter and a foot ot manganese that carries values of 2S per cent lead and 25 ounces in silver. On the foot wait side, although the footwaJl has not yet been readied, there is a small streak of sand carbonates, with values or" S7.6 ounces silver, 62. S per cent lead end a little gold. On the Copper Prince tunnel, the Ho- j boken. Silver King and Brain tissures have been cut. On the Silver King tis-eure tis-eure the winze is down eighty feet, with from six inches to two feet of shipping from sit inches to two feet of shipping ship-ping ore. In the Brain fissure the winze is down 110 feet and about thirty inches of high-grade silver-lead silver-lead ore has just been encountered. In tiiis fissure a raise has just been started at a point about fifty feet southwest of the winze, and eighteen inches of lead-silver-copper ore of high grade is being developed. The Alta Consolidated company yesterday yester-day sent to the sampler a thirty-ton car of " ore, lead-copper-silver, the values of which will run from $4o to per ton. Another car of even better grade is being be-ing loaded and will be sent down before the end of the week. |
