The faculty representatives unanimously unanimous-ly vo;ed to take this act inn because of the chaotic condition confronting the 1P1S football program in the middle west universities, uni-versities, and because It was found m ne "impossible to administer intercollegiate i athletics under the army restrictions." These universities are now virtually under un-der the control of the war department as each maintains a student army training corps. rroi'or Thomas K.
