Show 5 LA GRIPPE CASES IN DEE HOSPITAL Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. Oct. B. The fact that there are five cases of la grippe in the Dee hospital In this city, has given rise to the report that Spanish influenza has broken out in the institution. Dr. R. S. Joyce, a member of the board of directors and one of the heads of the Institution, said that six nurses were suffering suf-fering with la grippe. He added that they had been isolated and that the cases were being closely observed. Dr. Joyce said further that there was no cause at this time for alarm. In view of the unrest, through fear that the disease may become epidemic. Health Inspector Shorte. issued instructions today to-day to the people of the city, asking their co-operatinu- in combating the mniady in the event that it appears here, and urging urg-ing them to report any supposed case that may come to their attention. |
