Show RECRUITING OFFICER PUTSJNJUSY DAY PROVO, March 27. Captain J. W. "W&t-son, "W&t-son, U. S. A., was here today Inspecting the recruiting station conducted by Sergeant Ser-geant Edward B. Btumpf. The sergeant had a busy day and a number of applicants appli-cants for "enlistment were turned down for failure to come up to the physical requirements. But the following were George H. Warner of Proro, who en listed for the infantry, and the six Springville boys, who enlisted ae musicians. musi-cians. They are high school boys and were accompanied by Principal N. K. Xielsen of the high school. They are Lawrence C. Bird, Archibald R. Weight, William M. Grooms, Lou W, Gammell, Marvin H. Strong and Leigh H. Straw. The recruits will go to Salt Lake and be assigned to different posts. |
