S. university univer-sity will be the annual Junior Prom, to be given Friday evening in the Odeon. The entertainment will be under un-der the auspices of the junior class of the school, and will be given in honor of the graduating class. Miss Franz is here to attend, the wedding of Miss Margaret Mar-garet Mclntyre and Russell Kimball Woodruff, which will take place in February. of the hall. Every member of the class is assisting in the work of decorating. Green and white, the senior class colors, col-ors, predominate, and some clever and unique designs have been worked out by the committee. The committee in charge of posters for advertising purposes, consisting of Clyde Cornick, Miss Afton Wright and Miss Claire Edwards, have finished several attractive posters. The ticket committee consists of Alan Wood, Byron Maw and Lorenzo Claw-son, Claw-son, and the programme and dances are in care of Miss Ruth Allen, Grant -Stringham and Donald Paynes. The advertising committee, composed of Van H. Grant, Harold Silver and Miss Lucille Talmage, has distributed cards and streamers among the students and placed attractive posters and eards through the business district. Dr. and Mrs. Charles Edgerton Carter Car-ter have returned from a month's visit to southern California. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Lawson have arrived ar-rived from southern California to make their home in this city. Mr. Lawson is a brother of Howard H. Lawaon of Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. George 9. Gannett will leave Monday for New Orleans to at- tend the Mardi Gras. They will extend their visit to Cuba and will return home by way of Washington and New York. The trip will last several months. Miss Claudia Pendleton, English teacher at Rowland Hall, has resigned her position and will leave this week for her home in Lawrence, Kan. " Miscellaneous Events ' A surprise party was given at the home of Mrs. Robert Spiller on Monday evening, in honor of Miss Helen Mc-Njtt, Mc-Njtt, a well-known musician of the city, it being her birthday. The guests included in-cluded Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Marks, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Stack, Mr. and Mrs. J. Holden, Miss Hazel Franks, Miss Marv J.
