Show REGISTRATION FOR NURSES PROVIDED A bill that is to be introduced in the house has been prepared to provide a board of examination and registration of nurses, to handle tiie registration and operation of trained nurses in the state of Utah. The board of examination and registration registra-tion is to be composed of five members, who shall be paid a day for time actually actu-ally employed In work of the board. All nurses desiring to follow their profession in the state are required to be registered and to hold a certificate from this board. A registration fee of $10 from each applicant ap-plicant is required by the proposed act. The bill carries with It a provision giving giv-ing the board authority to appoint an inspector of hospitals and training schools for nurses, whose duties shall be outlined j by the board. Ariolation of the act will constitute a misdemeanor. |
