Mrs. Ida von Clausscn Dona, who lias ligured frequently fre-quently In the newspapers because of alleged al-leged attempts to annoy Thedore Roosevelt Roose-velt a nd other noted men, .was today directed by Supreme Court J ust ice Tompkins t be taken into custody by the superintendent of the Middletown sta te hospital. She was once commit led to the Bloom-Ingdalc. Bloom-Ingdalc. asylum, but was released on a supreme court order after being placed under observation of physicians, who declared de-clared her sane. Subsequent to leaving Bloom in gd ale, Mir. J 'ona was committed to the Middle-town Middle-town Institution. She was permitted (o go on parole in the custody of a relative. While on parole pa-role she married Francis A. Dona, after fleeing from the home of the relative, and was then ordered recommitted to Middletown. On her behalf today a motion was made to have this order of rcommlt ment vacated, va-cated, and it was denied by Justice Tomphins. Mrs. I ona once tried to sue Colonel Roosevelt, on the ground that while president ho had prevented her from being be-ing Introduced at tho Swedish court. |
