' IF Mi '' ' ' i MISS HAZEL CLARK entertained at luncheon at her home in Kenwood Ken-wood place yesterday afternoon, .followed by a box party at the Wilkes theater, in compliment to Miss Florence Winder, a bride of next week. The decorations were in a combination com-bination of yellow and lavender, developed devel-oped in cosmos and marigolds. The guests were seated at one large , table and three smaller ones. The flowers flow-ers were arranged in a brass bowl as a centerpiece for the large table and In h three small baskets for the centers of the smaller tables. Sixteen guests were entertained at cards, followed by tea. The tea table had a large gold basket filled with shaggy petaled chrysanthemums chrysanthe-mums as a centerpiece. A kensington was given yesterday afternoon aft-ernoon by Mrs. E. O. Lee at her apartment apart-ment in the Miller. The afternoon was spent in sewing, followed by tea. The tea table was decorated In dahlias, in rose, pink and lavender shades, arranged ar-ranged in a large basket. Presiding at the table were Mrs. Freeman Morning-star Morning-star and Mrs. William Reger. Mrs. C. A. McFarland read Irvin S. Cobb's "Bill of Fare" for the entertainment of the guests. The annual dance and card party of St. Paul's Episcopal church, under the auspices of the guild of the parish, last nlsht at the Newhouse hotel, was largely attended by the members of the parish and their friends. The guests were received re-ceived on the mezzanine floor, where card tables were plated for those who did not care to dance. Dancing was enjoyed in the ballroom. Palms and fall flowers were used for decorations. Punch was served during the e cuing. The committee on arrangements included in-cluded Mrs. Milton E. Lipman. Mrs. J. T. Beless, Mrs. A. M.
