Show WILMINGTON", Del., Sept. 15. Nineteen Nine-teen powder workers were burned, at least six of them seriously, by the exit ex-it osinn of several thousand pounds of smokeless powder at t he plant of the On Pont Powder company at Carney's Point, N. J., tonight. The flames originated in a blending tower and, while tlie company has not estahlishpd the cause, the opinion is advanced ad-vanced that a piece of metal may have found its way into the powder which was beinir worked through the tower. Pol lowing the first big 1 1 a re, which lighted up the country for miles around, there were several smaller ones, a fresh bins of powder in the tower became ignited. ig-nited.
